Steve is a 1973 graduate of Ohio University and a 1976 graduate of the University of Texas Law School, where he received the Order of the Coif for graduating in the top 5% of his law school class..

Steve's legal education at the University of Texas, then and now one of the nation's top 20 law schools, assured his firm foundation in the law — knowledge that he has used to the benefit of his clients throughout his career.

Law Practice In Dayton Ohio

After law school, Steve came back to Dayton Ohio, his hometown, and became a litigation partner with the prestigious law firm of Smith & Schnacke. 

For 13 years he gained experience working with top-notch lawyers in a team environment. 

Steve's mentor at Smith & Schnacke, senior partner Lloyd O’Hara, is credited with introducing Steve early in his career to other lawyers and judges — helping him build a foundation of solid professional relationships from which to draw strength and support.

Steve prosecutes and defends personal injury, medical & professional malpractice, and complex commercial litigation matters in Dayton Ohio and its surrounding areas.

Currently, Steve has his own practice in downtown Dayton and is an adjunct faculty member of the McGregor School of Business where he instructs Master of Business Administration candidates on a variety of business-related legal topics.
